SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to be in office approximately 3 days a week once training is complete.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate shall provide document support to the NSWC Crane Power and Energy Systems Division (JXM) Enterprise Business Management Branch (JXMM).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage documents pertaining to Standard Operating Procedures, Supplemental Document, Test Plans, Customer Program Plans, Forms, Branch Instructions, Division Instructions, Proposed Engineering Plans, White Papers, and Drawings through the approval process for the division.
  • Reviewing the testing documents to make sure they are following the approved process per Navy standards such as JXMINST 4855.80
  • Format and finalize documents for the department branches to use for their testing.  Provide the approved controlled copies for them to use in the labs.
  • Uploading standard correspondence, reports, white papers, and test data for the branches into iPDM
  • Provide the metrics for the testing documents monthly to the Quality Focal Point.
  • Perform a quarterly audit of each of the division's standard operating procedures to make sure the proper paperwork has been filed and received in iPDM.
  • Perform peer reviews on the division's correspondence and reports.
  • Upload various types of documentation and forms for historical information into iPDM along with test data from the different types of projects.
  • Maintain the division database of 48 standard operating procedures, 75 supplemental documentation, 15 division instructions, 9 branch instructions, and 178 test plans.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors and zero (0) years or more of related experience.  Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
  • Intermediate to expert level with Microsoft products
  • Excellent communication skills

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.  SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Adobe products
  • Experience with iPDM
