SAIC is seeking a dynamic Material Coordinator / Inventory Management Specialist to join our dedicated team at NSWC Crane.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy of ordnance transactional data / information.
- Enter and manage data within the Ordnance Information System (OIS).
- Coordinate and update any changes to receipt data to maintain system accuracy.
- Process various inventory adjustments, including production gains/losses, condition and defect code changes, expenditures, purpose code adjustments, expiration date updates, lot/serial number modifications, and NIIN changes.
- Communicate with ordnance storage magazine custodians regarding necessary location or labeling adjustments for accurate inventory management.
- Review and approve receipts processed by team members.
- Conduct research on Navy, Army, and Air Force; Notice of Ammunition Reclassification (NAR), Ammunition Information Notice (AIN), and Over Head Fire (OHF) notices, and collaborate with team members to perform actions such as corrections, cancellations, and rescissions.
- Assess on-hand assets for impacts from received NAR/AIN/OHF messages and make required changes in the OIS.
- Notify magazine custodians and project representatives about required labeling changes, log all relevant information in SharePoint, and perform NAR Acknowledgement in OIS for NSWC Crane managed Navy NARs.
- Update the Date of Last Inventory (DOLI) based on information provided by the inventory crew.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience in logistical, shipping/receiving operations, or a similar field.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience with the Ordnance Information System (OIS) or similar inventory management software.
- Prior experience in supply chain management and inventory control.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
