SAIC is looking for a Senior Analyst to support technical requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for government clients in Washington, DC. This role involves collaborating with developers, testers, and stakeholders to provide strategic guidance for system improvements, application implementations, and operational optimizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with technical requirements analysis, writing specification documents, and working closely with clients in hybrid software development environments.

  • 2 Days on-site and 3 days remote

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis: Evaluate, document, and manage detailed client application requirements; facilitate alignment on technical specifications with all stakeholders.
  • System Design & Optimization: Analyze, design, and maintain various application environments and recommend solutions for system enhancements. Troubleshoot technical issues, perform database queries, and optimize operations.
  • Documentation & Communication: Create comprehensive and clear technical documentation, system specifications, and wireframes for use by development teams and stakeholders. Conduct trainings, technical presentations, and application demonstrations for clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, testers, and engineers to ensure effective execution of proposed solutions, while delivering high-quality work products to meet client needs.
  • Adaptability: Operate in a blended Agile and Waterfall methodology environment, remaining flexible in approach and workflow.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical requirements analysis or equivalent. (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting and database query development, experience with SDLC methodologies, Jira, HTML, and Balsamiq.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a focus on generating and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ability to engage with both technical teams and government stakeholders in a collaborative, client-facing role.

 

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
