Relocation assistance will be considered on a case by case basis. Work is performed onsite in Patuxent River, MD.    Overall Job Description: As the Senior Information Security Analyst, your primary role will be to spearhead the initiatives critical for maintaining the information assurance (IA) posture across our networks and systems. You'll take charge of the team responsible for fortifying our digital environments and be instrumental in guiding system certification and accreditation processes.   The Senior IT Security Analyst will: - Guide the team in achieving system certification and accreditation. - Oversee security protocol implementation and monitoring for network and system protection. - Identify security risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Maintain robust security controls to protect electronic infrastructure and data. - Manage analysis, testing, and maintenance of security systems. - Lead in developing IA documentation for compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Required Experience: - Must possess a minimum of eight (8) years' worth of professional experience in the field  - Bachelor's degree or additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree - Have at least five (5) years experience dedicated to all aspects of Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity within Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise-wide IT Systems - Concurrently, a minimum of five (5) year's experience in hands-on computer security, encompassing secure network and system design, analysis, policy/test development, execution of tests, and the deployment of security solutions   Required Certification: - Must possess an active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) credential.   Required Clearance:  - Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
