SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the G/ATOR program in Quantico, VA.
This candidate will serve as the Systems Engineer directly supporting the Lead SE on G/ATOR and provide critical technical oversight by contributing to various aspects of the program, including ATP, transportability certifications, SETR planning, hardware SPRs, PCAs, configuration management, requirements management, FUEs, DMSMS, and ECPs. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that G/ATOR consistently meets its performance requirements and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP): Develop, review, and execute ATPs to ensure that the system meets all performance criteria and contractual specifications.
- Technical Oversight: Provide comprehensive technical oversight across all program activities, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices and project goals.
- Transportability Certifications: Ensure systems meet transportability requirements and obtain necessary certifications to support operational deployment.
- Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Planning: Lead the planning and execution of SETRs, including milestone reviews and technical assessments.
- Hardware Software Problem Reports (HW SPRs): Manage and oversee the resolution of hardware and software problem reports, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution.
- Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs): Conduct PCAs to verify that the product configuration complies with its design documentation.
- Configuration Management (CM): Implement and manage CM processes to maintain system integrity throughout the lifecycle.
- Requirements Management: Develop, manage, and validate system requirements, ensuring they are clearly defined and traceable.
- First Unit Equips (FUEs): Plan and execute FUEs to ensure initial fielding and operation of systems in various environments.
- Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS): Identify and mitigate risks related to DMSMS to ensure continuous supportability of the system.
- Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs): Develop, review, and implement ECPs to manage modifications and improvements to the system.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in systems engineering, with experience in radar systems preferred.
- Knowledge of radar systems, signal processing, and systems integration.
- Tools and Software: Proficiency with engineering tools and software used for system modeling and analysis (e.g., CREO and SolidWorks).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active secret clearance.
