The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a ServiceNow ITAM Practice Manager to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA. SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) within the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, a component of the Department of Defense (DoD), is in need of an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) Practice Manager. This individual will play a critical role in the OCIO, focusing on managing and optimizing the Agency's ITAM processes and tools through the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT Asset Management principles, have extensive experience with ServiceNow, and demonstrate the ability to identify and drive strategic initiatives to improve the Agency's asset-management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- With guidance from our Government customer, manage the ITAM practice, overseeing recording and tracking the lifecycle of all IT assets in the ITAM system of record, ServiceNow.
- Develop, implement, and refine OCIO's ITAM standards, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient asset tracking, usage, and compliance.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including the IT, Procurement, and Security teams, to ensure alignment and integration of ITAM practices with the Agency's overall objectives and constraints.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and administration of the ServiceNow ITAM module, ensuring optimal use and performance.
- Regularly conduct audits and assessments of IT assets to maintain accuracy and compliance with DoD and Agency regulations and policies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance asset management efficiency, accuracy, and cost benefits.
- Develop and deliver training and support materials for ITAM users, ensuring that staff are knowledgeable and proficient in use of the applicable parts of the ServiceNow ITAM toolset.
- Support and mentor a team of ITAM Analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in ITIL, ITAM, and ServiceNow, ensuring the Agency remains at the forefront of technology and process innovation.

It is required that the ServiceNow ITAM Practice Manager have the following qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
- Nine (9) or more years of experience in IT asset management, with at least three (3) years of experience specifically managing ServiceNow modules.
- Secret clearance.
- Proven experience in leading ITAM initiatives in a complex organization having a range of field and in-office user personas and IT-asset requirements.
- Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal processes.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow ITAM module configuration, administration, and reporting.
- Excellent project-management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple continual-improvement activities simultaneously..
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success with continual improvement activities in ServiceNow ITAM.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification.
- ServiceNow ITAM Implementation Specialist certification.
- Certified Software Asset Manager (SAM).
- Experience with IT asset management in a Department of Defense or other federal government agency.
- Familiarity with DoD regulations, policies, and compliance requirements related to IT asset management.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
