SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Site Lead for a multidisciplinary team supporting the NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Analytics and Integration Division.   Reporting to senior leadership, the candidate will oversee a technical team responsible for deploying and managing secure cloud environments and data-intensive solutions across multiple enclaves. This role will require the Site Lead to drive innovation, lead digital transformation initiatives, and ensure the alignment of technical solutions with organizational mission goals, direct task execution, and provide project status to the customer through completion within a high-stakes, mission-critical context.

This position is 100% on site at Fort Meade MD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Manage Teams: Lead and supervise a team of cloud engineers, software engineers, and database engineers. Ensure effective collaboration, performance, and technical excellence in the deployment and management of cloud environments spanning multiple enclaves.
  • Strategic Planning and Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with customers, stakeholders, and senior leadership to establish, communicate, and execute strategic plans, priorities, and objectives. Identify solutions to complex data driven problems.  Facilitate communication to ensure that technical solutions align with overall mission goals and customer expectations.
  • Oversee Cloud Deployment and Operations: Provide tactical and strategic oversight for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of hybrid or full-cloud environments with high security, scalability, and availability to support NC3 NEC Analytics and Integration Division's mission.
  • Lead Digital Transformation: Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives, enhancing the organization's technical capabilities and ensuring adoption of best practices for solutions architecture, big data analysis, software development, and database management in cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

  • US citizen.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and  at least 18 years of experience in data science, IT systems engineering, cloud management, or software development; Master's degree with a minimum of 16 years relevant experience.  Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

     

  • At least 3 years in a leadership or management role.  
  • Proven experience leading technical teams in high-stakes, mission-critical environments, preferably in support of DoW, intelligence community, or related federal agencies.
  • Experience working in national security/defense sectors, command and control systems, or nuclear mission-support environments.
  • An understanding of NC3's operational models, data reporting, or analytics workflows.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interface effectively with technical teams, senior management, and customers.
Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
