Details

• Team you'll be joining: SAIC Identity and Data Sciences Laboratory (IDSL).
• What we do: Design, build, and execute experiments to test and evaluate operational processes using biometric and non-biometric technologies.
• Our client: Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Biometrics and Identity Technology Center.
• Onsite location: Maryland Test Facility (MdTF), Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
• Hybrid flex work: Ideal candidate will be required to support both onsite and remote testing.
• Travel expectations: ~20% within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• This position requires a BS and 2+ years, MS and/or equivalent related experience. 
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be able to obtain DHS Public Trust.
• Comfortable operating in software development and test automation using Linux, Kubernetes, AWS cloud environments, Shell/Bash scripting, PowerShell, Python, and running and/or supporting containerized and serverless workloads.
• Ability to understand the toolset used by data scientists to inform future state requirements as we look to further automate the DevOps/MLOps pipeline.
• Experience with software development and test automation.
• Prior experience using: Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, CloudFormation, Terraform, .NET, iOS, Android a plus.
