SAIC is hiring for a Space Systems Engineer to support a dynamic program at SAIC. This position is located in Chantilly, Virginia and requires an active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance to start.
The following tasks are representative of those that will be accomplished at the request of the customer:
- Develop artifacts and documents.
- Review and assess requirements, designs, architectures, CONOPS and verification plans for adequacy of implementation of customer requirements, interface definitions, concepts and reference architecture.
- Manage and maintain architectures, CONOPS and requirements through enterprise configuration management boards and approved RFC processes.
- Other duties as specified by the customer.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- Understanding of overall systems engineer process
- Basic understanding of DOD/IC satellite systems and architectures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Available to travel domestically
