SAIC is seeking a Sustainment Master Scheduler to support a Space Systems Command (SSC) Program Management Office (PMO) located at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. We conduct Operations & Sustainment (O&S) activities for state-of-the-art Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems, providing global secure, survivable and protected communications for our Nation's warfighters. We are looking for a highly-skilled, motivated and proactive Master Scheduler to be an integral teammate, defining the next generation of space-based telecommunication systems supporting legacy and transitioning Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) capabilities for the Joint Force and International Partners (IP). The ideal candidate will support Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment, interfacing and collaborating with government stakeholders (military, civilian, contractors), SE&I teammates and industry prime contractors. The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force's Space Systems Center (SSC). We support the Space Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art satellite communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the management of a realistic and executable Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the program, incorporating data from multiple sources such as Integrated Product Team (IPT) planning, program partner schedulers and subcontract schedules.
• Manage detailed and master schedules, including analyzing and maintaining critical paths and summary level schedules.
• Participate in monthly schedule briefings on program status and health for both internal/external customers including the executive management team.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly CDRL and DAL deliveries to the customer of the IMS and related documents, utilizing the DI-MGMT-81661 Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) process.
• Travel: Up to 20% to CONUS and OCONUS locations upon government customer direction.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Active DoW SECRET clearance required to be considered for this position.
• Expert knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Project scheduling software and Milestone Professional.
• Scheduling process expertise, such as utilizing planning and scheduling best practices.
• Familiarity with utilizing planning and scheduling best practices DCMA 32 guidelines Comprehension of managing schedules, while analyzing and maintaining critical paths and summary level schedules.
• Skillful at creating and presenting Schedule Management Reviews and senior-level scheduling presentations.
• Excellent interpersonal/interfacing skills while working alongside government stakeholders, IPT leads and teammates to create scheduling products.
DESIRED:
• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years planning/scheduling experience.
• Possess Program Management Institute (PMI) Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with managing and integrating sub-contract schedules.
• Familiarity with Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).
• Experience with creating and managing Roadmaps.
• Experience with DoW space programs.
• Experience in SEIT environment.
