SAIC is seeking a Learning Assessment System (LAS) System Administrator to join our team located in Pensacola, FL.

This position requires the ability to perform the administration (patches, IAVAs, STIG checklists) of Windows server and upkeep of Questionmark, a COTS application,

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and promote standard operating procedures and schedules for routine administration tasks.
  • Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Follow and ensure the system is maintained in accordance with all DoD standards.
  • Perform a variety of routine and non-routine tasks associated with Cyber/Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) support in accordance with National and Department of Defense (DoD) standards to include the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Review and act upon DISA STIG checklists and generating or updating applicable ATO artifacts.
  • Perform work related to Security Configuration Compliance (Information Assurance Vulnerability Manager (IAVM/IAV Alert (*AVA)/IAV bulletins, STIG/SCAP)
  • Continually monitor and tune multiple systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Oversee the planning, installing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining of systems COTS software and associated upgrades using sound engineering principles to ensure security is incorporated throughout software/computer system lifecycle.
  • Perform remote desktop sessions to maintain and troubleshoot virtual servers.
  • Maintain Windows Server Operating System and Application Patch Management.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 

Qualifications:

  • System administration experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Windows 10/11
  • Experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO)
  • Experience implementing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) security configurations
  • Experience with Questionmark software
  • Ability to modify code in ASP .NET framework and integration with SharePoint
  • Experience with administering Active Directory Domain Services
  • Experience with CAC/Smart Card authentication solutions 

Certifications:

Active Security+ certification or comparable to comply with DoD Cyber Workforce requirements

Clearance Required:

Must have an active Secret security clearance
