SAIC is seeking a SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR to support the AF TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract. The AF TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract bridges intelligence community collection architectures, capabilities, and technologies with DoD operational and tactical requirements. This effort will deliver rapid, innovative, and cost-effective capabilities to meet warfighter needs, and will include bringing national capabilities to bear across all warfighting domains spanning intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, combat applications, battlespace awareness, command and control, multi-level security and mission programs. This next generation approach shall employ the latest advancements in geolocation and tagging, sensor and data fusion, unconventional / asymmetric warfare, situational awareness, cyberspace and spectrum warfare, large data analytics, data lake, jamming technologies, sensor technologies, geo-registration to deliver a cutting-edge approach.
The SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR for AF TENCAP is essential to the success of the HOPE 2.0 initiative, focusing on deploying patches and updates to ensure system security and efficiency, conducting thorough troubleshooting to resolve technical issues, and responding promptly to trouble tickets to provide excellent user support. Maintaining the smooth operation and reliability of our IT infrastructure is crucial to enhance the Air Force's multi-domain situational awareness and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure system security and stability by regularly deploying necessary patches and updates.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Provide timely and effective support by responding to and resolving user-submitted trouble tickets.
- Oversee the creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts, ensuring secure and appropriate access to system resources.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- BS and five (5) years of related experience with certifications. Additional experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- A+, CND, and Network+ certification.
- Must have hands-on experience with VMware, Linux OS, and Active Directory.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM related fields. Current enrollment is accepted.
- Experience with the following: Rancher, Kubernetes, Puppet, Nifi, Kafka, Zookeeper, Keycloak, Grafana, and Gitlab.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
