SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator to support MLRS program on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

Position Overview:

This role involves installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts and permissions, and ensuring the security and efficiency of all IT operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support systems engineering, maintenance, and operations of cyber capabilities

• Assist in troubleshooting of hardware, software

   

• Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.

   

• Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.

   

• Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.

   

• Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.

   

• Monitor and maintain system/server configuration.

   

• Perform repairs on faulty system/server hardware.

   

• Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.

   

• Install, update, and troubleshoot systems/servers.

   

• Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree with two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance:

• Must have an active secret clearance.

Required Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+
• CompTIA Network+
• OS related certificate or equivalent (CompTIA Linux+)
