SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program, a large SETA contract supporting the customer's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED).  The work will initially focus on requirements management support to enable end-to-end closure for programs with available growth of scope and responsibility, and will be located in Chantilly, VA. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with Government project management and functional managers to define scope of work for projects, and develop and update detailed schedules and roadmaps.
  • Use Jira and Confluence to organize, implement and maintain roadmaps and schedules for the various program technical branches.
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identify any variances, and highlight developing problem areas.
  • Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
  • Coordinate project level impact analyses of proposed engineering changes.
  • Support agile process evolution across Government teams, development contractors, user engagement teams, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related discipline and 0 years of experience. 
  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph 
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
