JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking a Technical Director in Chantilly, VA with a strong desire to enhance technical communication and collaboration for the NRO's Integrated Systems Program Office (ISPO) with the Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) in Chantilly, VA. The ISPO is an OPIR Joint Program Office responsible for acquiring the Overhead Persistence GEOINT Architecture (OPGA) that will provide the user community with OPIR capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information.
SPECIFIC TASKING:
• Act as primary SETA counterpart to Government Technical Director
• Guide technical studies, analyses, modeling and simulations at Government Senior Leader direction
• Advise the Government on future application of emerging technologies and CONOPs in response to evolving threats and needs
• Assist the Government in coordination and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure timely development of concept of operations (CONOPS) to enable development of systems to meet evolving user needs - including resiliency
• Assist the Government with integration and coordination of SETA activities across the offices and SPOs
• Participate in/Lead technical interchange meetings (TEMs) between offices and SPOs
• Assist the Government with coordination and cooperation on missions, demos, CONOPs and technology/integration with IC and DoD Mission Partners
• Provide expertise and guidance on maturation of system engineering processes
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree and 18 years or more experience in space missions related to NRO, NGA or DoD Space Control; or Master's and 16 years or more experience in space missions related to NRO, NGA or DoD Space Control
· Must be a US Citizen with active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph Possess effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment
· Working knowledge of AGILE Scrum and SAFe software development methods
· Working knowledge of IC principles, procedures
· Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various SE, PM tools
**May require overnight travel up to 3 percent of the work year
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Working knowledge of Acquisition Lifecycle(s)
· Experience with Model and Simulation Architectures
· Direct OPIR, GEOINT and/or SIGINT experience
· Direct experience supporting USAF SMC SBIRS System Program Office business operations/programs
