SAIC has an immediate need for a Test Engineer to support the U.S. Army Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions team located onsite at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, AL.

Job Description:

• Support ground and live fire test events for missile systems, ensuring safety, accuracy, and mission success
• Oversee live fire events, performing real-time diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with test range personnel to ensure ranges are properly scheduled for events
• Managed ammunition logistics using inventory tracking systems to ensure proper shipment and receipt of missiles for ground and flight testing
• Collaborated with software engineers and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements

Qualifications

Required Education:

• BS degree and two (2) years of experience

Required Skills:

• Experience in Acquisition Lifecycle Systems Engineering process, including hardware, software, and integration domains during developmental testing and system validation
• Experienced analyzing and verifying requirements
• Able to translate requirements into testable event objectives
• Fluent in the Microsoft Office Suite

Required Clearance:

• Must have an active Interim Security DOD Clearance; with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret
