SAIC's Core Creative Multimedia Production is seeking an UX/UI Web Designer to join our team and provide support to an up-tempo, creative environment for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer located in Northern VA. As an UX/UI Web Designer, you will work in a dynamic production environment and assist with defining customer requirements, developing solutions, and creating innovative production concepts. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Designing and developing websites and interactive multimedia applications from concept through deployment
- Creating user interface designs for applications, websites, eLearning, mobile apps, and videos
- Utilizing modern UX/UI guidelines
- Creating interactive multimedia products such as web-based training, games, and simulations for a variety of platforms, including web and mobile
- Learning new applications and continuing to develop and expand your technical skills
- Being a part of a team effort for complex and collaborative multimedia productions where everyone extends their specialties
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and ten (10) years or more experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (5) years or more experience.
- Must demonstrate sophisticated design aesthetic and knowledge of current design trends, as well as the desire to innovate
- Must be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop)
- Proficient in wire framing and prototyping
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS
- Knowledge of programming languages and web platforms such as WordPress, JavaScript, Bootstrap, XML, Joomla, and/or Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience collaborating with a variety of media specialists such as video editors, producers, ISDs, and web designers to translate client needs into original and engaging multimedia products
