SAIC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Sterling, VA. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Receiving

  • Receive parts onto Loading Dock.
  • Separate Spares from Deployment.
  • Spares returned.
    • Identify various electronic parts/units/systems.
    • Update Inventory System. 
    • Match to expected return.
    • Clean, Inspect, Minor Testing - Adherence to electronic component precautions and cautions.
    • Send parts needing more testing or repair to Material In Review.
    • Label, Box and Put to Shelf.
    • Pull parts for distribution as directed - Good working knowledge of electronic components is fundamental.
  • Deployment Part Receipts
    • Verify Electronic Parts/Component/Units/Systems vs Packing Slip (to compare to).  Aherence to electronic component precautions and cautions.
    • Update Inventory System
    • Update SAIC Accounting System.
    • Put Away.

Inventory Control

  • Perform Cycle Counts.
    • Update Inventory System.
  • Perform Physical Inventory.
    • Update Inventory System.
  • Shelf Adjustments.
    • Update Inventory System.
  • Restocking
    • Repackaging.
  • Assist Asset Management

Shipping

  • Spares.
    • Pull and Prepare requested parts.
    • Insure correct Firmware and Configuration Settings for location.
    • Ship via FedEx/UPS/LTL.
    • Record Transaction in Inventory System. 
  • Deployment.
    • Pull Parts per BOM (Bill of Material) - adhere to electronic component precautions and cautions.
    • QA items already on pallets by others.
    • Prepare shipment for transport.
    • Record Transaction in Inventory System.

Other

  • Work to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A.S. degree or B.S. degree and 0 years of experience. 
  • U.S. Citizenship and must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust Clearance.
  • Strong Windows-based computer skills required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of electronic parts/units/systems. Adherence to electronic component precautions and cautions is key to this position.
  • Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Sterling, VA.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
