As an Accountant reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by focusing primarily on bank reconciliations while also providing support in other key accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

•Bank Reconciliation Focus:

oPerform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and currencies

oInvestigate and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding items in a timely manner

oPrepare and post journal entries related to bank reconciliations

oMaintain accurate and organized records of all reconciliation activities

• General Accounting Support:

oAssist with month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

oProvide support in preparing financial statements and management reports

oAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as needed

oCollaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth accounting operations

Qualifications:

•Active Certified Public Accountant CPA-CA designation

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

•Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role preferably in audit firm.

•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

•Asset Hands-on experience with Sage 500 accounting software

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
