These are just a few of the benefits you can expect from working with Savage.    We provide Uniforms (laundering included) & PPE including steel toe boot allowance. Paid Holidays, Potential for profit Sharing, 120 hrs. yearly of PTO. Excellent Benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match. Schedule:  10-hour daily, days a week. Military veterans and National Guard Reservists are encouraged to apply. Shift is 10 am – 08 pm.    What you will be doing Responsible for spotting railcars on the correct track. Performing inbound and outbound Inspection of rail cars. Sampling and unloading non-petroleum oils from rail cars utilizing pumps and onsite equipment. Cross-training and assisting with the different functions performed at the facility. Participating in and promoting the Savage safety program   Requirements of a Successful Transloader     Perform basic maintenance on unloading equipment (filter changes, etc.) Attend and pass all training associated with job-related coursework.  This includes but is not limited to:  OSHA, HazMat, and FRA-related courses. Willingness to wear required PPE. Ability to work Holidays as required. Clear drug / alcohol test / criminal background check, Experience in the Rail Industry and/or truck loading/unloading is a plus. Work experience in an industrial environment is preferred. Valid driver's license. Work experience in the industry is preferred; however, we will train. For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.    Physical requirements of this role Work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as required for safety. Respirators may be required due to the nature of our work; therefore, a clean-shaven face is required to ensure proper fit and use of safety equipment Comfortable with heights up to 20 feet Walk 5+ miles per day on rail ballast or similar terrain. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb up and down stairs, open and close large valves, connect hoses up to 4 inches, and use hand tools to open and close railcar connections. #IND1
