This Quality Internship will be focused on supporting food safety and quality initiatives, and company objectives. It is designed to prepare successful interns for a possible future career with Schreiber Foods.
This internship is a year-round position, working either remotely or from our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You must have availability to work approximately 15 to 20 hours a week during the semester, and 40 hours a week during summer and winter breaks.
What you'll do:
- Creating and updating documentation and reports such as KPI's for food safety and quality systems
- Gaining knowledge about our products and applying that knowledge to improve processes and practices
- Inputting and analyzing data
- Assisting the quality teams on ongoing projects
- Support and assist with quality system maintenance activities and projects such as COA's and Shelf Life extensions
- Support processes of key quality systems (QS) programs to drive alignment globally, such as but not limited to Non-Conforming Events, Complaints, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Document Control, Hold and Release, Recall and Traceability, etc.
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing from a variety of sources.
What you will need to succeed:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Data Sciences, Food Safety and Quality or closely related field.
- A graduation date of May 2027 or later
- Availability to work approximately 15 to 20 hours a week during the semester, and 40 hours a week during summer and winter breaks
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them
- Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities
- Ability to multi-task
- Reliable transportation
- Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and computer systems such as word processing, managing files and records, Excel, Power Point, Documentum, and Microsoft Outlook.

For positions that require any amount of travel: Valid driver's license, auto insurance (at least state minimum- more might be required), acceptable driving record per Schreiber Foods discretion, and vehicle that will ensure applicant can meet the travel necessities of the position are required.
Schreiber requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
