This Position is primarily responsible for to produce best quality cheese as per customer requirement and organization standard by utilizing manufacturing tools like process skill, GMP, HACCP and ISO. To ensure efficient Safe & consistent production &packing of Cheddar, Mozzarella, string cheese with desired quality, yield & cost optimization.

What you'll do:

  • Cheddar & Mozzarella production monitoring -Ensure smooth shift operations and Comply with the requirements of Quality Systems
  • Ensure minimum down time, minimum product loss / salvage generation online and maximum product recovery & report to TA for any abnormality.
  • Coordination with maintenance department for minimum downtime and proper running condition of all equipment in the section & Ensure calibration of all instruments. Monitoring OEE, Yield& packing material losses.
  • Responsibility review formulation /specification as per customer requirement.
  • Timely MIS preparation for availability of all necessary ingredients and packing materials required for production
  • Coordination with plant coordinator for production planning.
  • Ensure high quality hygiene in all processing and packing areas & food safety compliance
  • Maintain relevant logs and reports of production, stocks and operations, including shift handing over reports, break-down and other down-time reports and reports of all major deviations from production, packing and hygiene standards, handling of manpower, arrange SIM meeting & Safety talks with team
  • Maintain proper storage conditions for raw ingredient finished product & salvage.
  • To prepare MIS / recovery report for the daily to control losses.

What you need to succeed:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Cheddar & Mozzarella Manufacturing
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree with Dairy Technology/ Dairy Science
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
  • Offer continuous improvement ideas, team player mentality, strong process and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of SCADA operation & Processes control
  • Proficiency in manufacturing technology of cheese.
  • Thorough knowledge about GMP, HACCP and ISO.
  • High degree of Inter-personal and communication skills
