The Plant Training Coordinator will help partners sharpen their skills and develop their talent at our Green Bay, WI plant. In this role, you will coordinate plant training processes, work with new partner welcome and inclusion efforts and assist in successful internal job movements. This role will audit, update and standardize training processes in accordance with company standards and utilize Workday Learning Management and other training tools to administer training.  

What you'll do:

  • Oversee and participate in on-the-job and refresher training processes for hourly partners and salaried leaders. Provide quality and consistent training to retain and develop partners.
  • Assist trainers and leaders to maintain updated training documents (Checklists and SOPs.)
  • Assist leaders and trainers in auditing and developing training materials as needed for plant related topics such as: New Hire Orientation, Safety Training, Food Safety Training, OJT Training, Systems Training, New Leader Onboarding, etc.
  • Plan and execute new partner welcome, immersion, and inclusion efforts.
  • Develop, plan and schedule training using Workday Learning Management. Train plant leaders and partners how to use Workday Learning Management.
  • Coordinate plant Train-the-Trainer Program including certification and recognition.
  • Participate in SPS and plant improvement projects/initiatives.
  • Maintain and report KPIs related to plant training, job movement, new hire turnover, staffing levels. Provide KPI and training status updates as needed to plant & company leaders.
  • Provide accurate/complete training records and registers for plant & audit inquiries.
  • Work irregular shift hours to support off shifts.
  • Determine appropriate training content, training environment, and delivery method to execute efficient and effective training.
  • Organize and manage training for new partners and ongoing training for current partners due to internal movement. Assure preparation and regular maintenance of job descriptions for plant based hourly jobs.
  • Work with leaders and partners on the internal job bids.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding.

What you need to succeed:

  • High School or GED required but Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior Training Coordinator experience is preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Initial technical knowledge of human resources practices and procedures.
  • Strong presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations in an understandable manner.
  • Prior Workday Learning Management or Workday experience preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work without a lot of direction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated history of responsiveness to customer needs and proven results, as well as ability to assess areas in need of improvement and recommend alternatives.
  • Ability to work different shifts to support 2nd and 3rd shift partners.
  • Well-developed analytical skills.
  • Forward thinking.
