THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Case Assistant, you will assist attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including documentation, due diligence, development and entitlements, closing and post-closing activities for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. You will be a member of the firm's Real Estate department, reporting to the attorneys on your team.

 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

On any given day, you will:

  • Assist in the organization of documents, matters and files.
  • Prepare and draft documents and correspondence
  • Manage due diligence of processes and track deadlines
  • Develop processes and procedures to enhance efficiency in serving clients
  • Maintain best records management practices
  • Organize, update, and own the management of internal team databases
  • Use internal firm software to successfully complete tasks related to supervisor requests
  • Other functions as assigned by supervisor
 

YOU HAVE:

  • 0-2 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. Law firm and in-house experience will be considered.
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook or similar mail. calendar technology.
  • Strong writing, organizational and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and legal terminology

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $53,000 annually, which is based on a 37.5 hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Seattle, WA. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
