Position Summary:
Responsible for transacting, loading, unloading, delivering, and driving between SIG sites, while following all U.S, State and company regulations and policies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Will perform a variety of tasks under general supervision including but not limited to:
*Loads and unloads product for delivery ensuring product is not damaged.
*Assists upon delivery with any product.
*Follows all policy and procedures for loading and safe transport.
*Operates vehicle in accordance with local, state and federal transportation regulations.
*Inspects and maintains vehicle and vehicle records in accordance with company standards.
*Assist in the cleanliness of the work area and general duties when not driving.
Education and/or Experience:
*High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
*Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
*Driving experience.
*Ability to pass DOT driver requirements
*Box Truck Driving experience.
*PIT licenses
Working Conditions:
*Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
*Employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
