  • US Citizenship and an actie DoD Secret clearance
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 7 or more years of experience supporting Air Force, Space Force, and/or DoD acquisition programs
  • APDP Level II certification and/or PMP certification or ability to obtain PMP certification
  • Experience using DoD, Air Force, and/or Space Force tools and applications
  • Expertise using MS Office applications and software

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Completion of a Master's degree in a related field
  • 17 or more years of relevant experience
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • APDP level III certification and/or PMP certification


Responsibilities

The Space Systems Command Space Systems Integration Office (SSC/BZ) is responsible for supporting and integrating current and future space acquisition programs, responding to warfighter requirements, evaluating emerging technologies, and communicating with international, commericla, and inter-agency partners.  The successful candidate will provide direct support to BZ leadership and their staff as a member of the Directorate Acquisition Group (DAG).

 

The SSC/BZ DAG is responsible for tracking and managing communication products, taskers, and the Directorate's highest priority efforts.  You will be in the premier space acquisition organization responsible for delivering space-based capabilities and effects to our warfighters and allied partners.

  • Apply critical thinking and experience to develop solutions for our customer's most challenging issues.
  • Develop reports, briefings, and other communication products that summarize accomplishments, cost, schedule, technical performance risks, and issues.
  • Manage information requests, inquiries, and tasks through completion.  This includes facilitating coordination with internal/external stakeholders and staffing products for review/approval to Directorate leadership.
  • Perform research and analysis that summarizes relevant issues, incorporates policy and guidance, addresses government, industry, and international partner perspectives to provide recommendations and/or potential courses of action.
  • Review, coordinate, and facilitate the security and policy review of information for public release.
