The Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters. Our portfolio includes the Assistant Secretary of Air Force for Space Acquisition & Integration (SAF/SQ), Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), US Space Command (USSPACECOM) and US Space Force (USSF). Responsibilities POSITION OVERVIEW: Serve as Subject Matter and Technical Expert for construction projects for the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM). Serve as a customer representative and technical expert to lead and manage the construction process by liaising with the United States Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), USSPACECOM Joint directorates, functional components, and service components. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver presentations on program status, accomplishments, problems, and requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives to military officers and civilians in other mission-centric offices of the Command, agencies, and Services Support meetings with executives of other Federal, state, and local agencie Advise and assist with facility construction planning and management tasks coordinating internally and across other USSPACECOM Directorates and external mission partner Act as a liaison between USSPACECOM and the Government construction managers (e.g., U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, or others), mission operations entities and internal and external stakeholders to ensure mission requirements are addressed in all phases of facility project design, construction, and mission equipment integration Serves as a trusted senior engineering advisor for all construction projects within the local command Ensure that urgent matters are highlighted to the staff at the division/chief or designee level promptly Develop Course of Action briefings for senior leaders during project planning Develop execution schedule, track against the baseline, and identify execution issues Coordinate with Resource Manager to meet USSPACECOM-driven spend plan Support recurring progress updates to senior leaders and track scope, schedule, and cost changes Qualifications Active TS/SCI security clearance 12+ years of related work experience of mid to senior-level experience with subject matter experience in managing highly complex, multi-year, $1M to $1B projects preferred Master's degree or professional registration/license in engineering or architecture preferred, otherwise BA/BS degree or higher in STEM, Engineering, Architecture or related field of study (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted) Familiarity with DoD construction standards and processes and with USACE management structure and MILCON execution Able to effectively manage time and collaborate across a diverse set of group/division priorities Knowledge of developing briefs and reports for project leadership team review Participate in and report on cost, schedule, performance, variance, and risk analysis Define, generate reviews, and ensure acquisition documentation is accurate, complete, and meets government specifications and standards Assists with the day-to-day management of programs and/or special projects Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail Reports to a designated work location in Colorado Springs, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client

Qualifications
