- Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical program
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Willingness to learn program/organizational processes and procedures
- Creative thinking and strong problem solving skills
- Strong leadership, communications, and organizational skills
- Able to delve into technical details and translate those into findings and recommendations
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
Responsibilities
We are seeking a smart, energetic, and dedicated individual to support DTRA Research & Development Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction Technologies Advanced Research programs and projects. The candidate will be a key contributor to analysis, projects, presentations and discussions. In this role, a majority of effort is focused on the development and deployment of various technical and physical solutions to meet CWMD Warfighter requirements. Responsibilities will include researching novel topics which utilize life sciences to addresses the most challenging offensive counter-WMD problems. Research will aim to develop biotechnologies that enhance warfighter performance and/or counter adversary use of biotechnologies used to decrement U.S. performance. The candidate will technically and scientifically support a variety of ongoing chemical/biological R&D efforts.
