Qualifications
Required:
- BS in Systems Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Business Administration, or related field
- 10 years of Defense Business Systems (DBS) experience
- Expertise in DBS, DBS IT infrastructure systems, and the Business Capability Acquisition Cycle
- Experience engaging with senior personnel, developing recommendations, and providing professional written or verbal assessments and correspondence supporting policy
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired:
- 10+ years of experience developing acquisition policies, guides, or handbooks
- 10+ years of experience as a business systems analyst and/or functional requirements analyst
- 5+ years of experience supporting a headquarters-level DoD organization
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing capability-based and technical analyses, assessments, and recommendations for Defense Business Systems (DBS) and IT infrastructure systems in support of program management and acquisition decisions. Will assess the cost, schedule, performance, risk, and supportability for DBS systems and programs, and provide subject matter expertise on DBS and IT infrastructure systems related to acquisition, technology, contracting, and program management. Apply subject matter expertise on DBS and IT infrastructure systems as it relates to acquisition, technology, contracting, and program management to support the DBS acquisition pathway to develop policy and guidance.
Will be responsible for integrating DBS pathway policies and equities with Chief Information Officer initiatives, as well as supporting DBS pathway engagements and conferences.
