We are seeking a motivated Security Specialist, Site Lead to support the day-to-day physical and personnel security operations of a fast-paced cleared facility supporting classified communications and programs. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and internal security procedures, while enabling mission operations. The ideal candidate is operationally focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while coordinately closely with corporate security leadership, program teams, IT, and facilities. This position will also provide surge or rotational support to other cleared facilities. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary on-site security POC for a cleared off-site facility supporting classified secure areas, communications, and programs. • Implement and enforce physical security controls for classified areas, secure rooms, and restricted spaces. • Mange access control, visitor processing, badging, and escort procedures. • Ensure proper safeguarding, storage, and handling of classified materials in coordination with program and IT staff. • Respond to and document security incidents, infractions, or violations; support inquiries and investigations as required. • Maintain compliance with NISPOM, DCSA guidance, customer guidance, and company SPP. • Support DCSA assessments, self-inspections, and internal audits. • Track and remediate findings and corrective actions in coordination with the FSO. • Act as the local security liaison with corporate security, FSOs, ISSMs, Facilities, IT, and program leadership. • Provide logistical and administrative support for security briefings, trainings, and inspections. • Assist with classified meetings, including clearance verification. • Assist with new secure space build out and facility changes. • Maintain Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), open storage area plans, and construction related documentation. • Provide rotational support to other cleared facilities as needed. • Support enterprise-wide security initiatives and best practices. • Conduct opening/closing procedures, security checks, and end of the day inspections. • Maintain IDS monitoring logs, response, access rosters, and visitor control procedures. • Create badges for employees and contractors working at facility. • Support personnel security clearance processing and CE/CV updates. • Identify and report reportable information, incidents, and changes in personnel. • Assist with clearance verification, visit certifications, and access eligibility validation for employees and visitors. • Serve as the primary security point of contact for OSA-related issues. Qualifications • U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret clearance. • 4+ years of experience supporting classified NISPOM environments within a cleared contractor environment. • Knowledge of the NISPOM, Traditional Physical Security STIG requirements, and general classified material handling procedures. • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established procedures. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Effective communication and teamwork skills. • Experience with CCRI and CORA assessments • Proficiency with DISS, NISS, SWFT, NBIS, SIMS, and other security related systems. • Knowledge of DCSA Secure Area Management.
