The Joint Defense Support Group, within SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division, supports the Surface Community and components of the United States Navy by providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas. We provide timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical, and acquisition support to the Maritime communities, and related agencies, allies, and partners. We are trusted agents of the senior and operational leadership in the Fleet, OPNAV, NAVSEA, and the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Navies. We play key roles in providing insights and strategies to address current and emerging challenges to national security and have tremendous impact on our client's success in solving their most important issues. SPA has a near-term need for Senior-Level Capability Assessment, Experimentation & Future Requirements C6F Liaison Navy Officer (LNO) Responsibilities Support CF6 HQ, SMWDC HQ, FFC, CPF, CNSF, and OPNAV with in capability assessments across SMWDC owned warfare area capabilities. Develop issue papers supporting future requirements to improve advanced tactical training by conducting assessment of investments that compares to POM requirements to actual execution and delivery in the applicable budget year. Develop plans and programs that will improve warfighting performance and readiness of the C6F surface forces and integrate those requirements into the SEWTC, IPCL, FTW, SURFRG, and other formal budgeting plans. Identify and report on areas for collaboration between C6F and SMWDC. Identify Surface Ship operational shortfalls while deployed to C6F and provide feedback to SWTD and HQ on ways Advanced Tactical Training (to include SWATTs) can be improved to better support C6F and SMWDC. Qualifications Required Qualifications: At least 15 years of recent experience as a Qualified SWO At least 5 years of recent experience in technical writing, developing doctrine or tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP), CONOPS, CONEMPS, or similar documents Knowledge of and/or experience with the U.S. Fleet Forces Warfighting Improvement Process (WIP) Knowledge and/or experience with the surface navy's combat systems, C5I, networks, weapons and sensors Exposure to or experience with the NAVY's FLEX program is preferred US Citizenship and US Security Clearance of SECRET, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Qualifications
