Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator
- 5+ years of experience configuring, administering, and maintaining Linux computer systems
- Experience in configuration and management of physical and/or virtual machine environments
- Basic network knowledge
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing customer environment in a closed lab
- Must be a team player and work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong work ethic
- A focus on the needs of the customer and the team
- An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
Desired Qualifications:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, and 9 experience.
- Experience with OpenShift.
- Experience with Ansible Automation.
- Experience with DoD security compliance (NIST 800-171, CMMC, DISA STIGs). ·
- Experience in scripting languages.
- Experience in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching/routing, management of Cisco devices, and working knowledge of firewall technologies.
- Experience supporting RMF security plans, procedures, and compliance.
- Experience with any of the following: NetApp, VEEAM, Gitla.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD Infrastructure and tools.
- Collaborating with software engineers to understand and identify critical areas for security implementation in the development process.
- Automating security controls, data protection, and vulnerability management systems in deployment pipelines.
- Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
- Security management.
- Documenting system configuration.
- Troubleshooting anomalies.
- Supporting Approval to Operate (ATO) requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
