Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or GED) AND (a) a graduate of a military training program that provided an in-depth knowledge of naval shipboard systems maintenance and operation, or (b) a graduate
    of a technical school in an engineering field
  • Twelve (12) years of collective experience in the operation, maintenance, testing and repair of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems installed on U.S. Navy nuclear-powered warships and experience providing Quality Assurance (QA) support for U.S. Navy nuclear powered warship equipment maintenance and repairs at a public or private shipyard
  • DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience working as a Level II supervisor or higher in a nuclear-capable shipyard or serving aboard U.S. Navy nuclear-powered warships as a Nuclear-trained Division Officer, LCPO (E6) or higher
  • Two (2) years of experience with the Navy Deep Submergence Systems Scope of Certification (DSS-SOC) program


Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will provide analytic and engineering support to the Commander, Submarine Force U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC) Maintenance and Material Readiness Directorate (N4), focusing on support to engineering and technical support services for ship and submarine Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems. The Senior Engineer will apply an understanding of submarine HM&E, submarine logistics, Quality Assurance, and maintenance to proactively manage new initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and drive projects to completion.  Additionally, the Senior Analyst will translate complex technical problems into leadership-ready briefs, including briefs to clients and senior leadership on analytic findings and progress.  This position is primarily located on client site at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, with potential for travel to local, CONUS, and OCONUS client locations.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Hawaii Pay Transparency Range:  $80-140k.
