The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring immediately for a part-time Senior Systems Engineer.

 

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Pay Transparency Salary range:  $92/hour – $121/hour


Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Engineer will provide SME-level technical and programmatic support to the TRIDENT II Program within Missile Branch and Facilities/Infrastructure Branch, Strategic Systems Programs. The Engineer will support headquarters level requirements development and design, schedule management oversight and deconfliction, and program planning. This is a part-time position, less than 30 hours per week.

 

 


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in STEM.
  • 10+ years experience with TRIDENT II Missile programs.
  • 15+ years professional experience with defense programs, including experience supporing Navy Strategic Systems Programs.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.
