POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Sr. Sales Manager, the Sales Associate will find, create, and build relationships with new clients.  This role will assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for specific clients/sponsors, including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations.  

 

Travel required – Estimated one week per month.     

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
  • Conduct thorough customer needs assessment and desired outcomes.
  • Craft and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Articulate the outcomes customers can expect when working with SRC Logistics.
  • Deeply understands all company offerings and communicates them to clients.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date CRM database.
  • Attends trade shows, seminars, conferences, and industry training programs. 
  • Accountable for achieving individual and contributing to team sales goals.
  • All other duties as assigned

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • Experience in business development, sales, or similar roles.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

 

Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods is possible.

All employees must follow safety standards, adhere to Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
