Staff Accountant is responsible for answering accounting and financial questions by research and interpreting data. You would be responsible handling all billing and collections, and processing payroll. You will be a key individual to our accounting team as we continue to grow. 

Responsibilities 

• Processing payroll and recording and reconciling all payroll transactions
• Cash management including preparing payments, recording receipts and preparing cash projections
• Assisting in month end process. 
• Preparing monthly recons and journal entries ensuring accuracy of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
• Creating, maintaining and reviewing procedures and policies for continuous improvements and efficiencies
• Tracking and reporting quarterly sales and use taxes for multiple states
• Cross-training to understand all data entry processes including vendor and customer invoices and problem solving to resolve any discrepancies
• Assisting in financial projections, budgeting and analyzing forecast to actual financial results

Key Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications Required 

• Bachelor degree in Business-Accounting/Finance 
• 2+ years' of accounting experience  
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with employees, management and Holdings representatives. 
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize, delegate, and organize assignment

   Preferred Skill/Knowledge/Ability/Education

• 4+ year's of accounting experience 
• CPA/CMA
