Job Description

Job Summary:**We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr Analyst to join our team at SS&C Fintech Svc India - Pune. This role involves supporting various financial technology operations through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

• Manage and monitor Alternative Investment Fund escrow accounts to ensure proper handling of investor funds.
• Validate availability of funds across UMB and State Street Bank (SSB) accounts and internal reconciliation books prior to processing transactions.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and fund-specific guidelines.

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of Demand Deposit Accounts (DDAs).
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
• Provide backup support by reconciling DDAs in the absence of team members.
• Maintain reconciliation accuracy and ensure timely clearance of breaks.

• Review and process outgoing manual wire transfers for:
• Investor redemptions
• Shareholder payments
• Perform validations for high-dollar transactions, ensuring:
• Adequate balance in bank accounts and recon books
• Proper approvals and compliance checks
• Escalate anomalies or exceptions as per procedures.

• Continuously monitor shared inboxes to ensure timely responses and issue resolution.
• Provide operational support and guidance to:
• BPO teams
• Call center teams
• Brokerage operations
• Client Relationship Management (CRM) teams
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and response turnaround.

• Investigate and resolve aged open reconciliation items using:
• Data store systems
• Internal reporting tools
• Banking and operational reports

• Document root cause analysis and ensure preventive actions are implemented.

• Generate and review reconciliation and transaction reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit and regulatory standards.
• Support periodic audits and control testing activities.
