What You Will Get To Do:
 

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Business Analyst to join our team. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology, driving digital initiatives that enhance user experiences and optimise processes across our financial services platforms. The successful candidate will gather and analyse requirements, translate them into actionable specifications, collaborate with technical teams, and support system implementations. They will also provide strategic insights, perform impact analyses, and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital solutions.

This role will be hired on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract.

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders for digital projects and product enhancements.

  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing digital processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance testers throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit, validate, and refine requirements.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, data models, and system diagrams.

  • Perform impact analysis of proposed changes, assessing risks, benefits, and dependencies.

  • Support the product owner in defining the product roadmap and prioritising features based on business value.

  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide guidance during system implementations.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging digital technologies to inform strategic recommendations.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on digital projects (web, mobile, customer portals).

  • Proven ability to gather, analyse, and document complex business and system requirements.

  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Skilled in creating detailed user stories, use cases, process maps, and wireframes.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.

  • Experience with financial services products or platforms is highly desirable.

  • Proficient with business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience working on large, complex, multi-stream transition and large-scale transformation programs is an advantage

  • Strong understanding of Digital and API development
