Join our Graduate Programme – Starting September 2025

About SS&C:

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented graduate to join our Production Services team in Basildon. This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on with critical systems that keep our services running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be part of a fast-paced support environment, learning to manage applications, analyse issues, and contribute to both change initiatives and day-to-day operations. 

 

You'll work closely with experienced teams to gain insight into financial technology systems and how they're maintained, improved, and supported across a large-scale organisation. 

 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Supporting small client change activities, including analysis and execution of standing data 

  • Performing key operational tasks such as start-of-day and end-of-day checks 

  • Monitoring and maintaining application performance within agreed service levels 

  • Assisting in triage and resolution of incidents, especially recurring or known issues 

  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure production stability and continuous improvement 

 

What we're looking for: 

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline - – graduating in 2024 - 2025 

  • An understanding of financial services and associated products 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks 

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal 

  • A team player with a willingness to learn and contribute  

 

Your development journey: 

You'll gain exposure to multiple aspects of Production Services. The program is designed to develop your expertise over time, starting with configuration analysis and expanding into broader business application support. With the support of mentors and a collaborative team, you'll build the foundations for a successful long-term career in technology operations. 

 

Rotations: 

You will rotate within the Production Services group, starting in the configuration analysis team and progressing through various business application support teams. Each rotation will help build a deeper understanding of different functions and technologies.
