What You Will Get To Do:
The Regulatory Reporting Analyst plays a vital role within the Customer Regulatory Reporting team for MLC Wealth. This position is responsible for enhancing and automating existing reporting processes and coordinating the delivery of both routine and annual regulatory reporting.
The analyst ensures accurate, timely, and compliant reporting to key government bodies, including the ATO, Department of Human Services, and Department of Veterans' Affairs. The role also involves managing the impact of business and legislative changes on reporting obligations and working closely with project teams to implement compliant, effective solutions. A key focus is the seamless transition of project and regulatory changes into business-as-usual processes to ensure ongoing reporting integrity.
Coordinate and execute actions to meet Customer Regulatory Reporting obligations, liaising with technology teams on requirements and providing SME advice during development.
Ensure report quality through pre-submission testing, controls, and quality reviews, offering technical support to internal teams.
Deliver compliant reporting on time, meeting all regulatory deadlines.
Support incident identification, analysis, and remediation, ensuring documentation is updated for process and legislative changes.
What You Will Bring:
An undergraduate qualification in Business or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
Familiarity with regulatory reporting, particularly superannuation-based reporting to the ATO (e.g., MAAS and MATS).
Knowledge of MLC Systems and processes is advantageous.
Strong time management and ability to plan and organise work effectively.
Experience with Atlas or similar applications, including incident management, investigation, remediation, and documentation, is highly regarded.
Masterkey knowledge is preferred.
