SS&C is the largest global investor service provider, servicing more than 55 million investors. Continually investing in global technology and services across the spectrum of distribution channels including: Asset Managers, Financial Advisors, Wealth Managers and large financial institutions such as Banks and Insurers. Investor servicing is offered in many different countries, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Luxembourg, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. SS&C also services mutual fund structures in many other fund domiciles.
Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) is the business unit offering this role. GIDS delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, using digital services.
About the Role
SS&C is seeking a Senior Director to lead AI strategy and delivery across our Global Investor Distribution Solutions (GIDS) Europe division.
This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to apply AI and machine learning across operational areas, enhancing efficiency, client experience, and decision-making within our processes. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to implement scalable AI solutions, helping SS&C maintain its position as a leading global investor service provider. Your Responsibilities
- Define and execute AI strategy across SS&C GIDS operational processes.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement AI-driven solutions to improve workflow, client engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, client services) to design and deliver AI initiatives.
- Engage directly with clients to understand needs, demonstrate value propositions, and manage expectations.
- Monitor AI trends, innovations, and regulatory developments in financial services to inform strategic direction.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to teams on AI best practices, governance, and adoption.
- Ensure AI projects align with business goals, compliance standards, and risk management frameworks.
Your Experience
- Proven expertise in AI/ML applied to financial services, preferably in asset management, wealth management, or investor distribution.
- Experience either implementing AI solutions internally to financial services organizations.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows in asset or wealth management.
- Track record of delivering AI initiatives that create measurable business impact.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and lead change in a complex environment.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with experience managing expectations and challenging conversations.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk/compliance considerations in financial services is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or professional certifications in AI, data science, or finance a plus.
