Job Title: Senior Director, Software QA Engineering
Locations: Kansas City, MO | Hybrid | New York, NY | Hybrid | Arizona | Remote
Get To Know The Team:
The Quality assurance team works across multiple areas of the SS&C Health organization that represent our core platform, as well as engaging in the exciting build of our new platform. The team is focused on delivery and setting the groundwork for core disciplines and processes across our QA organization. Through leadership, this role will build out best practices, enhanced deliveries, test automation, and an enhanced QA team.
What You Will Get To Do:
- Lead a group of U.S.-based manual and automation SQA Engineers that are contributors across multiple Product teams.
- Work with each Product team to identify current challenges and opportunities for improving software quality and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as advocate and influencer across organizational leadership to promote adoption and adherence to quality best practices, and prioritization and commitment to automated testing across product teams.
- Represent Product teams working with IT and DevOps teams in the planning, design, maintenance, implementation, and accessibility of physical and virtual automation frameworks and infrastructure for testing activities.
- Ability to monitor and use key quality measures in order to appraise and continually enhance testing and test approach.
- Work with multiple technologies and understand the value of test automation.
What You Will Bring:
- A Quality Assurance leader with 5 or more years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management application development.
- You will have a drive to lead initiatives to enhance test practices, improving quality and efficiency.
- You will be passionate about quality and take ownership in steering the quality of our products in all aspects.
- You will be adaptable to various testing methodologies, & practices, and tools that complement the software quality process.
- You will have strong experience working within an agile software development environment and be able to support team members in adopting agile testing approaches.
- You will be a self-starter who finds solutions rather than problems and is easily able to adapt to new technologies.
- You will be used to working in an agile environment and adaptable to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- You will drive and improve the engineering quality and testing strategy.
- An ambitious team player who strives for technical excellence and drives continuous improvement throughout the team.
