Sr. Sales Executive, GenAI/ML
Location: New York City

The SS&C Distribution Solutions business sells innovative technology and data to asset managers in support of their investment product distribution efforts. SS&C's services have expanded to include powerful GenAI and ML solutions that provide asset manager sales and marketing teams the insight and efficiency they require to accelerate sales growth in an intensively competitive landscape.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for solving complex problems with AI and ML. In your role as a Generative AI & ML Sr. Sales Executive, you will be working with an extensive list of current SS&C clients that are prospects for innovative, new AI solutions. Your role is to drive a high growth of revenue in these services working with clients on adoption and key success metrics. Your sales and consultative expertise in collaboration with an existing generalist sales team will drive a high rate of engagement and trust that will lead to adoption and revenue for SS&C. For each client you will clearly distinguish the unique value proposition that SS&C possesses in a crowded field. For this role, you must be New York based and comfortable with travel as needed

What You Will Get To Do:
As the expert in GenAI solutions, you will lead the sales process from prospecting through closing in coordination with an SS&C Account Manager, including conducting discovery to qualify opportunities, preparing subject matter experts and other team members, developing presentations, providing quality and timely follow-up to prospects and creating pricing proposals.
Deliver tailored, high-impact client presentations and demos.
Translate technical product capabilities into clear business value for C-level executives.
Act as the internal voice of the customer to influence the GenAI product roadmap.
Run strategic sales processes including RFPs, stakeholder engagement, and consultative discovery.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of short-, medium- and long-term opportunities through active outreach and nurturing relationships with decision-makers.
Collaborate with top-tier product, sales, and engineering teams.
Maintain relationships with industry consultants and other influencers to create advocates for SS&C in the market and drive referrals.
Plan and attend industry conferences with proactive outreach to schedule meetings with target prospects and maximize our return on investment.

What You Will Bring:
5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience including pre-sales
3+ years specifically selling AI/ML products or platforms.
Through your deep technical expertise, accelerate customer adoption building rapport with executive decision makers at the prospect and develop relationships at multiple levels of the organization.
Experience executing detailed go to market plans
Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
Experience in direct sales or business development in analytics, software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to drive new revenue in a complex, performance-oriented environment
Organizational intelligence and ability to navigate a large, global organization
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
