Sr. Client Relationship Manager Location: New York, NY | Hybrid Get To Know Us: SS&C is seeking to hire a Client Relationship Manager, (CRM) for its rapidly growing Distribution Solutions business. In this exiting and highly visible role, you will be interacting with both clients and prospects regularly. You will work with Product Management, Product Development, Sales and Leadership to develop relationships with each account. Working with senior executives, sales teams and support functions, you will have responsibility for the ongoing engagement across clients, which includes managing client contact and product deliverables, driving the training program, and onboarding new clients. - Client Management: Responsible for relationship development and management with key individuals and senior decision makers at each client in the areas of analytics and business intelligence. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship management skills to provide clients with the support and technical assistance they need to be successful with the Distribution Intelligence Solutions product suite.
- The Client Relationship Manager will garner input and feedback from clients and provide expertise on the use of WalletShare products. The Client Relationship Manager will also assist in managing strategic relationships, enhancing client services solutions, and helping lead clients through the on-boarding and training process.
- Ability to understand and communicate the value of data, data analytics, market trends and be detail-oriented is a must-have quality to communicate the value of the service effectively.
- Account Planning: Understand each client's profile, level of engagement and strategic and tactical goals. Create and update Powerpoint decks, manipulate Excel files including pivot tables, and run client reports in SS&C proprietary systems to further support account maintenance and engagement.
- Cross Team Coordination: Align SS&C resources (e.g., Product Development, SMEs, Customer Support, Customer Success) to respond to client needs and maximize client “stickiness” and value delivered.
- Capture client feedback: Communicate client feedback to the Product and Sales teams to ensure feedback informs the product roadmap and that the SS&C Sales team can capture product value and benefits with prospects.
- Training: Partner with all levels of product management to ensure that all training activities, training plans and other training requirements encompass key product benefits and align with customer training needs, internal requirements and product release rollouts. Create product and training brochures.
- Focus – at ease weighing different views and making smart, quick decisions, especially under pressure. Ability to organize and keep track of multiple clients while maintaining individualized relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication – you know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. Comfortable having difficult conversations without impacting the integrity of the established relationship. Strong communicator, both verbal and written. Ability to establish and maintain long term relationships, in person and over the phone. Must be able to set client expectations, deliver clear explanations about industry data and data visualizations.

- 3- 5+ years of related industry experience
- Bachelor's Degree (major in Economics or Finance preferred but not required)
- MS Tools, database tools
- Excellent Communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to understand and illustrate data-driven insights
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills a must.
- Ability to speak to stakeholders from all aspects from business and add value to decision-making.
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Can multitask with ease.
- Demonstrated success in planning and controlling account related activities; use of delegation and effective communication.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities such as strategic thinking and issue resolution
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage client contact
- Ability to manage multiple customer relationships; previous customer experience a must-have; Creative thinking and out of the box solution mindset
- Ability to understand client business model and proactively create opportunities to drive value.
- Understanding or experience in Salesforce platform

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 100,000 USD to 130,000 USD. Other States Salary range for the position: 71,000 USD to 116,000 USD.Apply on company website
