Job Title: Sr. Software Support Engineer
Location: 100% Remote

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Creation of unit test cases, test data based on the user stories/requirements defined.
  • Participate in walk-through, inspections, review meetings to learn about new features being deployed.
What You Will Bring:
  • Overall Software Development/Support Life Cycle experience
  • Graduate or Post graduate from a reputed institute
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
Technology
  • 6+ years' experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus).
  • 6+ years' experience with a combination of ASP.NET/C#.NET, ColdFusion, Javascript, T-SQL.
  • 2+ years working with SQL Server (2012/2016 preferred).
  • Solid experience on enterprise level business web applications.
  • Strong background in OO design, development and best practices with focus on design and architecting capabilities.
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Experience with JQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular, Typescript, Vue, React, NodeJS.
  • Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2012+ stored procedures.
  • Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
    Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of the .NET 4.0/4.6 Framework, including Visual Studio 2012/2013, C#, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, MVC, and ADO.NET.
  • Analyzing Information, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing
  • Solid understanding of the Waterfall and Agile Software Development methods.
  • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices while leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Understands application servers and can find logged information to help troubleshoot.
  • Experience in Confluence and JIRA
Soft skills
  • Good team player with sound oral and written communication skills

  • Experience as both a team member and / or team leader in a multiple-project environment
  • Knowledge of Financial domain (Retirement or Mutual Fund).
