Job Summary

Lead a team of Unit Registrars, overseeing the daily operations and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of unit holder registrations and transactions for SS&C Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Manage, mentor, and train a team of Unit Registrars, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Oversee daily operational tasks related to unit holder registration, subscription, redemption, transfer, and dividend processing, ensuring adherence to established procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Review and approve complex transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for unit registrar operations, resolving escalated issues and providing guidance to the team.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client service.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and client service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Compliance, Client Services, IT) to resolve issues and improve cross-functional workflows.

  • Prepare and present operational reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.

  • Participate in client meetings and represent the Unit Registrar team as needed.


What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund administration or unit registrar operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

  • Strong understanding of mutual fund/unit trust operations, regulations (e.g., MAS), and industry best practices.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with fund accounting and transfer agency systems is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
