What You Will Get To Do:

We are seeking an experienced Vendor Management Lead to oversee and manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring robust risk management practices and operational resilience. In this role, you will own the vendor management framework, driving performance monitoring and oversight to mitigate risks while achieving strong commercial outcomes. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective governance, compliance with CPS230 requirements, and alignment with global procurement policies.   • Oversee and implement the vendor management framework, ensuring compliance with CPS230, APRA, and global procurement policies while aligning Australia GIDS vendor management with local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor owners, global stakeholders, and strategic partners to enhance service delivery.
  • Own and drive transitional service agreement portfolios, supporting program execution to meet business objectives.
  • Define vendor performance management practices, ensuring oversight of critical suppliers, compliance reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct vendor risk assessments to ensure robust and resilient services while managing action plans to maintain performance within acceptable tolerances.
  • Review vendor contracts in collaboration with SS&C's legal team, ensuring agreements align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate regular vendor performance oversight, maintaining accurate records of contracts, communications, and performance metrics.
  • Support vendor onboarding, ensuring adherence to company standards, formal agreements, and ongoing service monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, driving the organisation's adoption of enhanced vendor management practices.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, highlighting vendor performance, risks, compliance status, and emerging concerns.
  • Address vendor disputes promptly to maintain service continuity and operational resilience.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs by taking on additional responsibilities as required.

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in vendor management or a similar role.

  • Effective communicator, engaging confidently across all organisational levels.
