The Vermont Department of Labor exists to improve the lives of working Vermonters. The Department's Vermont Occupational Safety and Health Administration (VOSHA) enforces the OSH Act of 1970 to keep VOSHA works with employers and employees to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses through enforcement, training, and outreach. The Vermont Department of Labor, Workplace Safety, is headquartered in Montpelier.

 

Vermont OSHA (VOSHA) is seeking an Administrative Compliance Intern - Temporary for a part-time position in Montpelier. This is a unique opportunity to learn in the field of occupational health and safety. Duties include but are not limited to organizing inspection case files, digitizing inspection case files, inventorying health and safety equipment and supplies, and supporting administrative processes.

This position, Administrative Compliance Intern - Paid - Temporary (Job Requisition #52975), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.
