Overview

The Vermont Agency of Transportation's Contract Administration Bureau is seeking motivated, detail-oriented professionals to join our Grants Unit.

 

This role will support more than 900 grants across 21 statewide programs each year, ensuring the efficient use of resources that keep Vermont's transportation system moving. The Specialiast will prepare and assemble documents for procurement through grant execution, maintain accurate data across multiple software systems, and help ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

 

We are looking for individuals who bring strong organizational skills, the ability to move seamlessly between priorities, and excellent communication. The work is challenging and rewarding, with a direct connection to improving the transportation services that Vermonters rely on every day. You'll be part of a collaborative environment where your contributions make an immediate and lasting impact on both the Agency's mission and the traveling public.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed in an office setting. Communication with contractors is present.

Minimum Qualifications

Associates degree or certificate program in contract administration, public administration, accounting, business management, legal, or related field.

OR

High school or equivalent AND one (1) year or more of experience at a technical level in contract administration or a related field.
