OverviewThe Office of the Public Defender in Rutland, Vermont has an immediate opening for a full-time public defender. This public defender will work in a staff office with four other attorneys, an investigator and two legal assistants. The primary focus is criminal law.
The successful candidate must be a current member in good standing of the Vermont bar or eligible to obtain admission by waiver by the start date. Applicants must have relevant legal experience or have a background in criminal law studies and student practice.
This is an exempt, full-time position located in Rutland, Vermont. Salary is based upon qualifications and experience.
CompensationBased upon qualifications and experience
Hourly Rate: $31.81/hr-$61.78/hr
